The extended face pull

The muscles are you working:

  • Upper Back
  • Middle Back
  • Biceps
  • Triceps
  • Abdominal’s

How do you perform it?

  1. backwards to ensure you have some slack on the cable.
  2. Standing into optimal alignment, with your abdominals braced and your pelvis tilted slightly posteriorly (bum muscles squeezed to the max)
  3. Pull the rope in towards the chin keeping the elbows raised up high and hold here for a second
  4. Next push the rope upwards while keeping the upper back muscles contracted and without leaning backwards.
  5. Return the rope to the start position and repeat for 15-20 reps
