8 week get ripped challenge

I’m 9 days into my 8 week get ripped challenge, as 8 weeks is a long time i havnt come running out of the gates as fast as i can.

I know from previous experience that when you try to do to much too soon. it just becomes a chore, too much handwork and you start to lose your motivation and energy.

Therefor i am taking this 8 weeks in stages.

Last week i changed my training plan from a full body 4 x a week training plan to a single or duel body part split routine depending on the day and raised my training sessions to 5 a week.

My nutrition is currently the same as before except i have removed the obvious stuff i don’t need like sticky toffee pudding and custard and my ben and jerrys at the weekend. (I’m a real softy for that).

I have also started to add 5 mins of HIIT cardio onto a few of my sessions (i really don’t like cardio, but its got to be done)

My advise to anyone trying to achieve their dream body transformation is to take one step at a time and progress as and when you are ready as often as possible without losing your steady momentum.
