What does it really take to have a six pack?

Written By Harry James Pointon on .

Having a six pack is a sign that you are a pretty fit individual, some people suggest it is the peak of fitness, most people want a six pack but not so many have ever had one.

We live in a fast paced, money driven world where everything needs to be done now. Due to this people in all industries take advantage of their target clientele by falsely promising the best case scenario result for everyone.

Anybody can get a six pack, but there is no easy way about achieving it unless you’re a genetic freak.

There is quicker ways to get there but for these you will have to pay more in terms of effort, sweat, tears and being strict with certain aspects of life.

So if you want a six pack, let’s look at what you need to take into consideration.

  1. You need to realise you’re going to have to work hard for it and once you get there you’re going to have to work hard to maintain it. Yes you can quite easily lose your beloved six pack by just slacking off slightly, believe me I know, its hugely annoying. I have to keep my love for puddings under strict control, just once a week.
  2. You need to lift weights, unless you want the scrawny skater look. Training the whole body doing compound exercises is the most effective way using the least amount of time and yes that includes legs. Contract your Abs while performing compound exercises.

3) Do 20 minutes of Sprints once a week – 60 seconds Sprinting / 60 seconds walking4)You need to eat well, this means eating only whole proper foods 98% of the time have one treat a week only. 5) Minimize Stress by stopping doing the things you don’t need to do.

6) Stay Hydrated by drinking plenty of water.

7) Get Plenty of Sleep.

What you need to do is pretty basic, but that’s where the word easy and six pack move away from each other.

Push yourself in the gym while training smart, eat well, rest enough and stay hydrated and you will be well on the way to a six pack, but remember it will take time and you will have to be consistent with your efforts.

Live like an athlete look like an athlete.
