The king of all exercises

In the jungle the lion is said to be the king, As a Personal trainer I believe there is a clear king exercise when in the gym.

It’s not the squat or the bench press; I personally think the deadlift is the king of all exercises. The Squat is an equally good exercise, but due to the majority not being able to perform it effectively, I believe the deadlift is number 1.

Why do i think this?

The deadlift uses to just about every muscle in the body; this means you can potentially finish your workout in less than 5 minutes.

Here’s an example of how I used the deadlift to have a super quick lower body workout the other day that was super effective, super quick and used every bit of my strength in just 5 minutes (After the equipment was set up).

  1. Deadlift 140kg x 19 reps
  2. Leg Press 250kg x 10reps
  3. Hamstring Curls 50kg x 15reps
  4. Walking Lunges 30kg x 20reps
