Is fasting for dummies or is calorie counting for the weak minded?

People will always find things to argue about, it’s the nature of the ego.

When it comes to building muscle and losing fat, the answers have been here for a long time. The best ways for long term success at building a great looking body are the same they were decades ago.

Train hard, rest well and either eat less energy than used for fat loss or eat more energy than you use for muscle building. If your consistent with these eventually you will reach your goals. The key is patience and consistency for whatever your goal your chasing.

When it comes to calorie counting or fasting they are the same thing, there are just ways of controlling calories.

As long as you are meeting your energy requirements for your goal and getting a balanced amount of macronutrients and micronutrients it won’t make a difference whether you fast or calorie count.

The key is to pick the method that fits into your lifestyle the easiest.

There will always be people who will pick a side in any argument because that will be what works best for them. We must remember we all different and have very different lifestyles. This will dictate what is the best approach for our individual needs.

Also if something sounds too good to be true, it is. You can’t get in great shape fasting and then feasting on pizza. You may lose weight if your seriously overweight but you won’t get in great shape.

Your body needs good quality food sources for long term success.
